Cheeky Monkey Alexander Much Missed Son of Ian and Nicola and Younger Brother to Thomas, Jack and Twin Brother Harrison.
Fell Asleep and Became our Angel Friday 9th February 2007 aged 17 months.
Those who knew Alex remember him he has left a great big hole in all our hearts xx
We found out we were having Twins at our first Scan on the 13th April 2005.
During scans we were told that they were dichrionic/diamniotic or non id but after birth although there were 2 sacs there was only one placenta (possibly fused but never told any definites).
It was Normal pregnancy no worries or scares just a bit of sciatica for me and they were induced at 36 weeks and 6 days as consultant was concerned about T1 growth (Harrison) but turns out that there really was nothing to worry about.
Born on the 24th September 2005 at Barnsley District General Hospital by Normal Delivery
Harrison James arrived first at 7.47pm after an 8 hour labour weighing in at 5lb 5oz and Alexander Robert made a speedy arrival (not one to miss out nosey bugger ) 8 minutes later at 7.55pm.
We had chosen Harrisons name already but couldn't decide between Alexander and Benjamin so we asked the midwife (can only remember her name was Linda and she was fab and it was her first Twin delivery) who promtly got all emotional and chose Alexander as that was her Dad's name. Both were 48cm long with Head circumference of 35cm.
Throughout the last 17months Alexander appeared to be the leader despite being the youngest, He was cheeky, clever (always the first to do sitting, crawling, standing etc) mischeivous and always smiling (although never in photo's) and he has left a gaping hole in all our hearts. We were proud to have Twins and took delight in telling anyone who asked that we were.
Alex loved to turn on my (expensive) stereo and dance along to Take That and nobody can listen to any Take That song without it being a constant reminder of out Happy, Smiling Boy.
We miss our happy, smiling baby boy but have a bonus in that we were blessed with Twins and Alexander will live on through Harrison.

I wasn't able to organise my own walk this year but Andy, Liam, Ruby, Mia and I will be joining another walk a few miles away, it's in memory of a little boy called Riley and as we walk, I will also be remembering you Alex, so often in my thoughts. I decided to google my son's name this evening. His name is Alexander Richardson. He was born on 29 June 2007 and we live in Chelmsford. Such a lovely site and your Alexander sounds a little like mine.
Rest in Peace and I will think of you now I have seen your cheeky monkey photograph.

Held you in my thoughts all day yesterday Alexander & will continue to do so even more over the next few days. I can't believe it has been 4 years since you became an angel. Your family are amazing & strong & miss you so so much. We will all be celebrating your life on Friday at your charity ball - shine on us as we raise our glasses to you. XX
